Comments: You might have twigged that I’m a follower of the manga so watching this could go in two ways – the Hunter x Hunter direction where I marvelled at how well they brought Togashi’s story to animated life, or the Black Cat direction where I was this close to squeezing the dear life out of some black cats watching the show disintegrating to pieces. The early signs are mixed for Bakuman. – nice studio on hand (J.C.Staff) but marred by some of the most hilariously bad casting decisions I’ve ever seen. I also wonder at what point in the manga they’ll be stopping…
